Les Fleurs Du Mal: Flowers Of Evil

I've started a new project - it's Baudelaire by Cookie A. It's a toe up sock with cables and lace.

I am knitting it up using 2x 2.5mm Addi Turbo's and 2 skeins of Lorna's Laces sock yarn in the Valentine colourway. I love this yarn, it reminds me of roses, so I thought it would be perfect for an evil flower sock. ^_^ Did I mention that the lace pattern is in graph form? Yes, it is.

Oh - I like how the little bit of purple knits into it - lovely - looking forward to seeing them grow like all good flowers should!

Dear Kylie,

I like all these flower analogies. :)

I like the purple too, it's a really dark colour, like the outer petals of a dark red rose are. It's so pretty.

My evil little flower has already shown me her thorns, I dropped a stitch 3 rounds down and it was painful to pick up again. Since then though, she has started to blossom into a gorgeous rose. The charts look harder than they actually are, and it's so rewarding to be able to read them and fly through the pattern!
